first of all, but certainly not of most importance compared to the rest..its my dinner outing with the dmm :) got my first paycheck and decided i shall do something nice by treating those who were available, so i sent out a msg stating that whoever's available and wans to make it please do come..and everyone came! lol, i totally wasnt expecting that, but, it was really, nice :)) had dinner at fish and co. at paragon..

y paragon? well, cos initially, mr yeo jiehui said he wanted to eat crystal jade, and he recommanded us to go to crystal jade at paragon..so all of us were wondering, got crystal jade there meh? apparantly there was, but it was the PALACE one! the one where it costs $188++ per pax! fortunately, he regained his senses 2 hrs prior to the meeting and we managed to change the place to a more affordable fish and co. jiehui's always doing these things to us haha..

but it was fun hanging out with them again..oh btw, thanks jiehui for driving me home! and tks harry for taking that really special effort to come all the way down..its greatly greatly appreciated :) maybe in heaven, we are able to be at a few places at one time, which means we get to spend times like that forever in our little clouds..talking, walking, stopping, gathering in a circle and start talking, realizing we arent going anywhere and walk a few meters before stopping to chat again..and xiang would be complaining how stupid we are lol..

this frenship, is one of the things that beautifies my life :)

the number of :) shows you how thankful to god for them, and how much i love them haha..so before ending off, we just have to have this picture to show how happy i am!

how can we not have danny acting spastic? hahah..

up next..pris and david's bday extremely 'heated' party! held at gerald yeo's house which was superbly difficult to find and guarded by this humongous ferocious german shepherd round the corner, which BARKED at me really LOUDLY..

Narcolepsy

"Narcolepsy means falling asleep. Often people with narcolepsy are not diagnosed for a long time. Some are labeled lazy or sleepy head.

A patient with narcolepsy can have different degree of daytime sleepiness/tiredness. Some have a history of an irresistible need to fall asleep. The patient falls asleep for 10-20 minutes and then is able to resume his activities to full capacity. This may be repeated many times through the day.

Sleep paralysis is a symptom of narcolepsy. This occurs usually when the person is going to sleep or waking up. The person is awake but has the feeling of being unable to move. This paralysis tends to end on its own after a few seconds, or can be terminated by a touch from another person.

There can also be a phenomenom called hypnogogic hallucinations, which is a dream occurring when a person is half awake; just when a person is falling asleep there may be vivid, brightly colored hallucinations. The abnormal feeling can be visual or auditory (hearing voices or noises) or even a feeling of abnormal body positions. "

I am quite sure I suffer from Narcolepsy. Yes, im quite sure..lol..

why i love

the beauty of the chuch is that through vast differences, we can still find a reason to work towards that common goal.

and the worker says, "work work"..apparantly, my body is getting more used to the fact of my working life..am trying to change my bad habits by sleeping earlier and waking up earlier to pray..i realized to a even greater intensity, praying is very impt for our everyday lives.

adeline heres my count - i spent 272.73 on clothes so far! haha..im spending more than i shld..can see a bad habit coming along - spending wat u dun have..means we tink that our pay is coming, so we spend more rite now when we dun have our pay..which isnt good! so i should really control myself more now..am going to plan my finances and write wat i buy down..i wana be a good steward of my money :)

i woke up at 645 to pray today! my first successful attempt in 3 weeks of trying..it was on sat, when god told me that if i viewed morning time with him as impt and as crucial as the time i report for work, den i would have no qualms waking up at that time, or even jolt out in surprise if im late..and its true huh, i dun tink i've valued that time much, and it should be the most precious time of everyday! with that in mind, i tink i will be more self disciplined to wake up every morning before work to pray den..

meeting dwcg mates next thurs :) dunno whether many will turn up, but the mere thought of it excites me so.

i finally found an executive in my office who is in the 20s..he just started work today! im not so alone anymore! haha..

preference

i always prefered communicating with guys rather than with gurls for a few reasons.

1) gurls are MUCH more sensitive than guys. i must admit i do shoot off my mouth at times and dun really realize wat im talking abt..and hence, most of the time, i dun really mean all the things that i say..its in a just-kidding kinda way..guys will take it as it is, gurls will be hurt..so for the record, most of the time i really dun mean wat i say! dun tink too much abt my words..

2) most guys arent petty..once an issue's solved, its solved..end of story..im like that too..

3) sometimes i cant stand how gurls can pretend to be normal in front of ppl they dun like..den whilst the other party back's is turned, they start gossiping abt wat a bitch she is..if a guy doesnt like you, he doesnt talk to you..simple enough..everyone's happy..

4) talking to guys doesnt require much brain cells..it requires a mind full of crap, and a skin thick enuf to withstand all the nonsense they will throw at you..

few reasons prob why i never had any real real close female frens after she left..am still trying to find my feminie side now..thanks jasmine loh, you have been a real good fren :)

6 Weird Things

Thanks wynnie, who so obligingly (kidding!) tagged me.

Rules:

1. My favourite animal is the snake. Can you hear Jackies going "WEIRDO!" ? Oh yes i can. If there wasnt a law prohibiting the rearing of snakes as household pets, i would probably have one of them right now. Especially the Albino Python, Woo! B-E-A-U-tiful!

2. I like to play games that most of my guys frens go "wah! u play that?!" whenever i tell them about it. For example, Dota, Warcraft and Starcraft, Fantasy Premier League and occasionally, CS.

3. I kept a lobster as a household pet before and i named him Raymond. He was quite cute, just that he didnt really like it when i tried to lift him out of the tank. Snappy little creature, and NO, i didnt eat him when he died. I gave him a mini funeral.

4. Desserts always comes before the main course, if possible. Especially LOVES cakes :D

5. Most people tell me my fashion sense is weird. I tell them their fashion sense is boring. Polka dots, stripes, ruffles, lace, Bring Them ON!

6. The one sure way to making me like you - love my baby sister.

Is that weird enough? I like myself like that tho.

lonely

i feel so lonely without my ipod..come back to me, my world is colourless without you :(

work is gradually getting busier..learning stuff and thank god again! my colleague is quite patient with me and teach me wat i need to know!! god is great :D

working on my lappy now reminds me of the time where i disconnected my monitor from my hard drive, and called dan for help..he was rather bemused at wat i had done, never had it occurred to him that someone could actually disconnect their monitor from the pc, from the pc itself..hahah..

those good old times :)

facts

i chanced upon tracy and liping at gelare the other day while out shopping with gwen..and i learnt a very interesting fact that i haven known before..tracy told me that actually, we dun really have to dig our ears to get rid of earwax, cos it will naturally come out..its like a self-automated cleaning machinism which i dunno how it works but it juz works?

and i was super damn amazed, and exclaimed HUH really ah!! so it just naturally falls out like that?! den tracy said, yeah but u wouldnt know that it comes out la..juz bit my bit..and i was like, WAH ZAI AH! amazing..and tracy responded - yeah! u tink god so lousy one meh, let the dirt juz clog up in ur ears? sure will clean one ma..and i tot that was really quite true..

even in things that i dunno, things that i dun even put much effort into at all, god knows and takes care of everything..i didnt know that my nails and hair were made up of dead cells, its a way for the body to get rid of old cells and make new ones..i didnt know that when i casually flick my fingers, thousands of dead skin cells fall off so that newer and fresher ones can take its place..i didnt know that the ozone layer not only reflects harmful UV rays from the earth but also reflects heat that comes from the earth at night so that the Earth will not freeze up when there's no sun..

there are so many things that i didnt know, and there doesnt seem any apparant need for me to know anyway..but upon knowing these, den i c0me to realize that, god really does take care of everything after all..without all these cycles, i tink life wouldnt be possible huh..

my god is the creator, gardener, caretaker, teacher, father and provider of our big old Earth..not only that, but taking care of the universe, making sure everything is in balance is in job scope as well..With that, im sure taking care of my life, is of absolute no problem for him..

that thought really comforts me :)

so far..

my boss hired a new executive today, and she was all hyped up abt it when she came back to our department..she was going like, yes! i found my new executive! she is good! her experience blah blah blah is so good, fits the job etc etc etc..and i was tinking to myself..wow, wat made her hire me, seriously..

i did ask the HR manager wat was it in me tt helped in their decision to hire me, and she said that they find that i could articulate my thoughts well..gosh, i muz really have been able to crap my way thru the interview to actually made them tink that way..but, the more logical explanation for it must be, it was the Big Guy up there who helped me..

how can i actually have managed to present my thoughts so well that they are willing to overlook my lack of experience for the job even tho the requirements bluntly stated for 4-5 years of related experience? when i glance thru the mail that summarized all the newcomers who have joined the company recently, i was left tinking wat would the HR manager actually write abt me..the others have some sort of portfolio to back them up, eg 3/4 years in so and so, 10 years in this profession..and wat abt me? lol, zero experience and graduated from MDIS?

dear father..u really do love me so..and upon taking the advice of my many caregroup members who have greatly helped by telling mi to pray for a good boss, i prayed, and my boss now is really quite good! well, its only been 2 days so im not so sure abt the future, but so far, she's been preety nice..the only other executive in the department is on her tetherends coping with the stress of the work, but i really cant help much cos i dunno much lol..and so i do try to help her the best that i can..

gosh, i feel so inadequte :(

dear my fantabulous father in heaven..u really really haf to help me out here..i haf zero idea wat to do, and how to go abt my work..so u peeps out there who wan to pray for me, i have some prayer points stated here..

at work

its the second day of work and im at my office typing this..cos ive done finish wat im supposed to do alr..

gonna be lunchtime soon!! really hungry cos i forgot to eat breakfast today..work's preety much still boring cos we have an event coming up..so that takes priority..might be more fun when the event's over..

thank god my boss is nice!

as you guys might have read from the previous entry..i finally found a job! and a rather well-paying one too..

i really have to say, thank you my wonderful father in heaven..i didnt know how good the benefits of my job were until after ive signed the appointment letters..it was quite miraculous that they called mi down for an interview, cos i didnt meet their job requirements that well..and its even more amazing they actually hired me, cos i tot i screwed up the interview not to say that i had totally no experience at all..

so im quite thankful, and im feel quite loved, and favoured :)

daniel summed it all up preety well - im little miss favoured..and the one's who got my back, is the one who made the earth..that goes to say, my life's in preety safe hands!

you cant stop the beat

wat ive been rocking to lately - you cant stop the beat in the Hairspray OST hahaha..feel like dancing everytime i hear it! ppl on the mrt muz tink im mad..speaking of mrt, pastor ben said a super funny joke in sermon today!!

pastor ben " instead of godliness, society is churning out more ppl who are impatient, ppl who have increasing hostile natures..if u dun believe me, go to the mrt and try staring at someone." i was laughing so much in my chair while trying to stifle my laughter that i had to slid low in my seat so as not to disturb the ppl ard me..imagine! if i really did go do that and stare at someone in the mrt! gosh, that scenario juz tickles my funny bones!

happiness announcement!! i have officially found a job!!! wheeee!!! im gonna be working at national healthcare group from now on! and so, i tink im going to be busy :D..finally, we have broken the vicious cycle! rejoice mr lee!!

after lunch at s11 today..i accompanied wynnie to do her manicure, but upon arrival, i contemplated and concluded that i shld pamper myself this once and decided that im going to do manicure too!! my first manicure in 21 years! hahah and so i snapped a shot..

pardon the fat fingers lol, the fingernails are nice tho! pink rocks!! wynnie kept saying that this color did NOT suit my image at all cos it was too sweet and im not the sweet kind..lol, dun care! i like!!

my preety sister posing as we headed out for my mom's bday dinner..i tell u, only kids can get away with wearing one color from head to toe! she's got pink hair-tie, pink top, pink bottoms and pink shoes! sometimes she wears pink socks and carries a pink bag as well! and if u open MY cupboard, her clothes fill 1/4 of it! and its ALL pink! gosh, adults cant do that..ppl will tink u are weird..

we had our district event at east coast park on saturday..thank god it rained a little before we started our event so it wasnt that hot! god really loves us huh..i was gamemaster and my game was human foolsball, hahh yes! i koped it! anyways lemme show u the difference between youth and adults foolsball (is that how u spell it?)

adults have the budget to really build things!! lol..gosh, we actually dug poles and bought such strings..well, lesson learnt that day, adults ARE violent too! i went home with a bruised foot that day, and its still hurting now :(

went out with jas on friday and hanged out the whole afternoon! i left my cozy little spot in sunny singapore and travelled one and a half hrs to the other side of the country, tampines!! and i realized, that shopping malls everywhere in singapore house mostly the same stuff..how boring can one get, really! went to her house to slack while she prepared her teaching before heading out to town for a movie with the rest of y-budd..watched ratatoulle (i cant be bothered to figure out the correct spelling) and its SUPER nice!! one have to watch it! watching movies with jas are always fun, lol..

AND, we both bought the SAME pair of SHOES! so now we got the same shoes!!! hers are silver while mine's GOLD! gosh, we are so like ______and _______ :D but the heels are real high, so they hurt quite badly, but....they are nice!! and we both bought the same pair!! we muz wear together next time!

and this is mi and xiang when we went out last last friday i tink..hahaha love u a lot a lot girl!

and finally juz to make ur mouths water, these are donuts from MUNCHY DONUTS which david bought for the caregroup a long time ago..gosh!! looking at them juz makes mi wana go buy them now! ok, im shagged..gonna go pray and rest..btw, i hope drogba scores tonight lol..
