anger, and then sadness

why and how on earth can anyone, who proclaims to be a christian, chooses something of the world rather than god?

what exactly is a christian? its just to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and worship God..why then can some christians hang this term so loosely on their shoulders? and why do they live their lives like god isnt there?

i dun understand how a God-fearing, God-loving Christian can:

1) Choose to sleep in rather than go service
2) Choose to spend so much time with their boyfriends/girlfriends/wives/husbands but not a single minute with God
3) Choose to read the newspaper rather than the bible, THE Word of God
4) Choose to go watch a movie rather than go for caregroup

I am upset. Which makes me think how much more upset God is. His children are ignoring him. His own children neglects him.

We have taken God for granted. We think that we can put God on hold, we think that we should use our youth to earn money, build families, build careers, and when you retire, then you think about God.

God is placed last on their priority list.

Why are we doing this to the one and only God who loves us? Him who has given us the very breath that we need to be on this Earth?

Luke states

"Two men were in debt to a banker. One owed five hundred silver pieces, the other fifty. Neither of them could pay up, and so the banker canceled both debts. Which of the two would be more grateful?"

Simon answered, "I suppose the one who was forgiven the most."

"That's right," said Jesus.' "She was forgiven many, many sins, and so she is very, very grateful. If the forgiveness is minimal, the gratitude is minimal."

Why are Christians regarding God so lightly, only running to him in times of trouble?

Stop taking God for granted, please.
