revived

yeah my com is revived!!

thanks to mr gerald yeo who came all the way to my house from hougang to help me fix it..really thank you very much!!

so i guess you guys will be seeing more of me online now..hahah and yes junyao!! i am updating NOW!!

hmm going ons in my life..i just (ok not just, but recently) came back from the adults ACTSperience camp at KL..i know u guys have heard a lot of ppl harp abt it..and yes it was cool! really different from youth camp..if i had to describe youth camp in one word, that would be 'tiring'..my gosh..now i wonder how i managed to survive all those times in camp where we had endless teachings, den worship till super late..meet all the ppl im supposed to me AND still got energy to play captain's ball the whole night..ah, the merits of being young..hahah..

in adults camp, we get to SLEEP! *GASP* yes u youth ppl, adults get to actually sleep in their camp!! which btw, was a fantastic experience, apart from the presence of god hahaha..was refreshed almost everyday so could pay attention to the teachings haha..and pastor simon eng came to guest teach at our camp!! hahah and as usual, he shot everybody while smiling the whole way..if a smile could kill, i guess pastor simon eng's could hehe..

ok in a nutshell, because i dun really fancy staring at the computer after work, apart from killing some noobs in bnet occasionally..so here are the few things i gained from camp, and life in adults so far:

1) grp snergy takes time and effort, it doesnt just happen out of nowhere.
2) the key to success in ministry: realising that ALL the glory goes to god. even a hint of the thought "ok im somewhat good at this" is pointing glory to urself..dun snatch god's glory away
3) once you set your mind to it, you can talk to almost anyone, anywhere, anyhow. it just takes a little more effort to listen, thats all.
4) jesus started his ministry when he was 30 years old..he took the time before that to prepare himself..youth is where you are trained, cherish it
5) god disciplines those he loves
6) great relationships starts from youself
7) a little faith, goes a long long long way :)

i got a little challenge on the way back from KL..michael got me to pray for our tour guide in chinese..natural instinct was 'oh my gosh! are u crazy?!?!'..but danny feng told me once "you wana grow? do something that scares the living daylights out of you''..furthermore, if your leaders tell you to do something that scares you, u better grab that chance man, it might not come back again..

and so i prayed for her in chinese..and she said, thank you. no one has ever offered to pray for me before..im very touched :)

really, god works in miraculous ways.

food for thought:

i was eating dinner with wenjun today..and we were talking abt bacteria..bacteria is essential for everything on the face of this earth..without bacteria, there would be no life..isnt it funny, how the biggest animals, biggest organisms on earth, depends on the smallest lifeform - bacteria?

when you tink abt it, u gotta wonder abt what amazing things go on in the mind of our god.
