at the edge of a cliff

i stood at the edge of a cliff,
looking down at the waves crashing into the rocks.
i feel the wind blowing against mi,
and breathe in the smell of salt.
i looked at the blue-ish green of the ocean,
which stretched as far as i could see, finally meeting with the setting sun.

i stood there and took everything in,
seconds, minutes and hrs passed.

i look up to the black sky over my head,
and gazed in wonder at the many stars that shine ever so brightly.
i closed my ears and listen intently,
and hear the calls of the whales as they cross the oceans.
i stretched out my hands,
and feel the soft spray of the ocean against them.

i took a step ahead,
and feel the coldness of the water as they embraced mi.

wat did it mattered if i died?
because the earth would still keep spinning.
the gulls would still be flying across the ocean.
the waves would still come, and the sun would still rise.
the stars would still shine, and the wind would still continue circling the earth.

suddenly, nothing seems important anymore. always carry ard a spirit of joy and thanksgiving. worry bout nothing and live ur life to the fullest. because in the end, the world would still continue on, even without you. i thank god that im alive.

work is fun..im a lucky gurl..
